Job Description:
Need a professional with a rich experience of approx 12 to 15 yrs of which at least last 4 yrs handling the same profile. Should be technically very strong in Knits & Wovens from a IE background
Will be responsible for;
- to conduct product cost analysis across garments and or footwear and give
recommendations so that the best products can be developed and produced in the most cost effective
way. The areas of focus are;
- Reviewing and analysing the cost of different raw materials, components, product
- construction and production procedures in order to suggest the most cost-effective way to
build the product
- Proposing changes in materials and construction to save costs while still maintain the
quality standards
- Providing advice for the preparation of Bills of Materials which gives Commercial team the
- right direction for product development and production.
- Developing the most efficient manufacturing methods and sequences to reduce labour
cost
- Communicating in a clear and simple way so that Commercial and Technical teams can
understand the results of analysis.
- Working on my personal development plan
- Handling Ad-hoc and Special Projects
- The estimation of costs of products is accurate (e.g. +/-5% vs actual cost)
- ?We save costs after adopting the recommended changes in raw materials, product
construction or production methods
